Christy and Joe

Tuesday, July 24, 2007

This past Saturday Christy and Joe were married in an incredible ceremony in Huntsville, Alabama. I had never met Joe until Saturday but he was just as Christy descibed him. Their ceremony was extremely touching and made it clear that they have put God at the forefront of their marriage....an awesome thing!

The ceremony was at Covenant Presbyterian Church and the reception followed at The Huntsville Museum of Art.

My friend and fellow photographer Gary Cosby Jr. was my second shooter for this event and did an awesome job!

Cosby snagged this shot of some of the groomsment playing the piano during formal photos.

Joe wanted a "CD cover" type image of himself and all the groomsmen...

...he kind of looks like the lead singer of a 10 member boy band!

This was Joe and Christy's first kiss...ever! It was so cool to watch....plus it's one of the longest "You may kiss the bride" moments I have ever seen!

Cosby snagged this panned photo from the balcony as Christy and Joe made their exit!

This is such a cool moment...you can really see the emotion on both of their faces!

This is one of my favorite images from the ceremony!

This is my favorite from the whole day!

The first dance....

The father of the bride toasts his daughter and new son-in-law.

Joe and Christy....thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of such a special day.

The getaway!

Davis, these are even better than I expected. My daughter has always been photogenic so the expressions you captured don't surprise me. The composition is another story, the images are really cool. I can't wait to see the other pics.

David, these pictures are just beautiful. Some of your angles make the pictures more than just a photo. You captured both Joe & Christy perfectly. I have to agree--your favorite is mine as well. Thank you so much for your special touch on a very special day. Can't wait to see the rest of the photos.--Joe's Mom

David, I was so disappointed when I found out that Joe was getting married so far from home and my husband and I were unable to go. However, when we saw your photos and how they captured the joy and excitment of the day we felt as tho we had been there. The pics reveal the beauty and emotion of the bride and groom. We feel as tho we have already met Christy and love her. Thank you so much for making their wedding so "real" for us. Trish & Raleigh Clark
