I have known Holly for a long time. It is safe to say that I have known her for most of her life. Notice I said most of her life. Old people say that....young people say "I've known her all of my life." I'm just sayin'.
I was honored when she and Adam chose me to photograph their wedding back in March. I have known Adam for quite a while as well so the reception was a reunion of folks I haven't seen in years!
This next shot below is one of my favorites from the entire day...

Attention Holly and Adam....you need a 40"x 60" canvas of this next image hanging in your house! :)
Dave McConnell sang during the reception. It was incredible. He sounds like you grabbed Frank Sinatra straight from a 1953 Vegas stage and dropped him into a 2009 wedding reception. Click here to listen to a sample from his website.
I can't decide which view I like the best....GFC was working the balcony view of their exit.

The wedding was in beautiful Mooresville, Alabama at the Old Brick Church. Now the weather for that day was supposed to be awful. There was a huge chance of not only rain but severe weather. There were clearly a lot of prayers going up for good weather because the day was perfect minus a 5 minute sprinkle right before they left the reception.
As always Gary Cosby Jr. shot with me....GFC if you will. This is his below....

I would love to take credit for taking this photo but even if I wanted to I would be busted...if you look hard you'll see me crouching like a roadside ninja.
One of Gary's most awesome shots of the day below...
Justin Miller arranged a great set of acoustic guitar music for the ceremony.
One of the things that Holly wanted after the ceremony was to have a group shot of everyone who attended. I debated for months (literally) about whether I should take a large ladder out to Mooresville for that. Well I decided to use the ol' pole cam technique. I mounted my camera on top of a light stand....set the timer....and held it up high.

This is Holly laughing at my suggestion for a 40" x 60" canvas....no really Holly....I'm serious.
The reception was at Athens State University's Founders Hall. This is a beautiful location for a wedding reception.
Dave McConnell sang during the reception. It was incredible. He sounds like you grabbed Frank Sinatra straight from a 1953 Vegas stage and dropped him into a 2009 wedding reception. Click here to listen to a sample from his website.
Now remember all those prayers I mentioned about the weather earlier? Well God showed out a little bit for us right at the end. Right about the time I was trying to decide how to light the grand exit He did it for me. You can't beat sunset light.
I can't decide which view I like the best....GFC was working the balcony view of their exit.
Affordable Vintage Autos provided the vintage limo for their exit....what a classy way to leave! I mean...not as classy as the Toyota Camry I left in....but pretty classy nonetheless.
Congratulations Adam and Holly! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!
