A co-worker of mine brought this direct mail piece into work with him this morning. Now normally when people tell me, "That guy looks like you" I never agree...but this guy does!


Anna doesn't agree though....oh well...I guess this guy isn't handsome enough. It reminds me of this one time when we had just started dating...she said, "You look like Ben Affleck..." - I felt pretty good about that - but then she finished, "...in dim light."

Today we received the 24x36 gallery wrap canvas print of our Christmas card portrait that we ordered for the entrance way of the house! This is just the first of many of these we are planning on ordering. This is absolutely the best way to display your images!! It is the difference between a "really good picture" and an art piece!

One Light Workshop Crasher

I was down in Orlando/Cape Canaveral last week for work and had a free night so I drove from the compound that is Disney downtown to The Lexington to crash Zack Arias' One Light Workshop. Garrett and Joy Nudd were fresh off their Elevate event and hosted Zack's workshop....I really appreciate all of them allowing me to just drop in. Don't worry...I did let them know I was coming...so I wasn't a total crasher!

I got to meet a ton of great photographers....waaaay too many to list. But during a small breakout session I was tagged by Zack as the model for their lighting practice. I guess I had to earn my keep somehow. Texas photographer Christine Selleck Tremoulet sent me one of those images....

Congratulations Andrea and Bobby!

It was such an honor to be able to photograph Andrea and Bobby's wedding yesterday in New Market, Alabama!

Everything went extremely well and the wedding was beautiful! Now granted...we're in the middle of a drought and it rained...but it was still incredible!

This is probably my favorite image from the day. This was taken as Andrea's sister was helping her put on her pearls.


This photo of Andrea's dress comes in a close second for my favorite shot of the day!



Here is a shot of both rings sitting in a bowl of personalized M&Ms.





I thought it was a little odd that they had bouncers to work the door at the church...

...actually this is Bobby and his groomsmen just before the ceremony.
