Our weekend!

Anna put together an awesome weekend as an early anniversary present to me. Brian Regan is one of my favorite comedians so we went up to Boston/Cape Cod to watch his show. We took in some of the typical Boston tour stops as well. I was glad to get back South though....there wasn't a single conversation that didn't start with me being asked, "Where are you from?" It seems that I may have a bit of a southern accent. Oh...and sweet tea....why are we (The South) the only ones who know about sweet tea? It's sad really.

Here's a little video I put together with some of the highlights of our trip. Keep an eye out for Anna's buddy who got on the bus with us during a ride back to our hotel.

Kelsey - Senior - 2008

Kelsey and I got together last week in downtown Huntsville and shot her senior photos!

I would like to take this opportunity to ask that the city of Huntsville set off a bug bomb near the square down there....the biggest....meanest mosquitoes I have ever seen chased us away from a few spots.

Here are a few of my favorites.....









This photo is the first of a little series I am starting. I haven't really named it yet...but I'm leaning towards "The Tom Cruise/Top Gun/Every Small Town Sheriff In Any Movie/Aviator Sunglasses Series" That may be a bit wordy...but it's pretty accurate.

Christy and Joe

This past Saturday Christy and Joe were married in an incredible ceremony in Huntsville, Alabama. I had never met Joe until Saturday but he was just as Christy descibed him. Their ceremony was extremely touching and made it clear that they have put God at the forefront of their marriage....an awesome thing!

The ceremony was at Covenant Presbyterian Church and the reception followed at The Huntsville Museum of Art.

My friend and fellow photographer Gary Cosby Jr. was my second shooter for this event and did an awesome job!


Cosby snagged this shot of some of the groomsment playing the piano during formal photos.




Joe wanted a "CD cover" type image of himself and all the groomsmen...


...he kind of looks like the lead singer of a 10 member boy band!


This was Joe and Christy's first kiss...ever! It was so cool to watch....plus it's one of the longest "You may kiss the bride" moments I have ever seen!


Cosby snagged this panned photo from the balcony as Christy and Joe made their exit!


This is such a cool moment...you can really see the emotion on both of their faces!
