In keeping with my goal to better document my family I wanted to make a portrait of my dad this morning at breakfast. My family typically gets together on Sunday morning of Mother's and Father's Day to celebrate. Unfortunately I was working out of town on Mother's Day this year so Mom....I owe you a portrait!

Another reason I wanted to do this was that for the first time in my entire life my father has facial hair. It gives me hope that one day maybe I'll be able to grow facial hair of my own. My beard attempt would look pretty poor right now I imagine. Everybody needs beard hope.

Dad

Thanks for everything you and mom have done for me over the years....especially putting me through college! That's a biggie for which I know I haven't thanked you enough.

Happy Father's Day Dad!
